One would be forgiven when thinking about Hoedspruit and visualising a dusty little town in the middle of nowhere, just on route to the Kruger National Park.  Have we got news for you, Hoedspruit is way more than bushveld and petrol stations.  Within the Kruger to Canyon Biosphere area, Hoedspruit is the gateway to the South African safari, and, it is one of the main agricultural producers in the country, with significant exports, globally.  Located within the Limpopo Province of South Africa and within the Maruleng Municipality District, the area nestled nicely between the Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon, it is also the northern gateway to the stunning panorama route.

Hoedspruit is perfectly positioned to offer a wide range of tourism, services, facilities, activities and other creative offerings. Largely focused around wildlife, safari activities, and agriculture, a diverse and progressive vibe, combined with community culture of hard work, innovation, adventure, loyalty, and the great outdoors; becomes all to apparent to those who spend any time here.
As a significant employer, the Agriculture Sector in the region mainly produces citrus fruit such as naartjies, lemons, grapefruit and oranges, but is also a major grower of mangos and home of the very popular and well supported Annual MangoFest.
